Elaine Cornick comes to McCleary Foundation with a wealth of leadership and housing experience. Elaine retired from the Maryland Department of Housing (DHCD) in 2018 after27 years of service as the Director of Multifamily Housing, leading a department of over 70 staff. Prior to her time at DHCD, Elaine worked in Massachusetts work for Mass Housing and for the City of Boston in their housing programs. Elaine has been active in her church, serving in the Finance Ministry. Previously she served as a lay-speaker and Chair of the Women’s Ministry. Elaine was awarded the 2017 Housing Leadership Award by the Maryland Affordable Housing Coalition.
